We found Galangal and having looked at the menu outside, looked at the place, decided to go in...and was glad that we did.

They provide 2 menus of street food selection, with a good range of drinks too. Service is quick (unless you're having ribs (20 minute wait)). The food is competitively priced and I'd recommend trying the local juices/shakes.

We did try other places afterwards however went back a further 3 times before going home, as we couldn't find another local eatery to match this place. read less

I enjoyed a couple of lunches and as many dinners here.
One time, the waitress realised I was dinning solo, so she said, "I'll put you over there, next to two pretty girls". The staff are busy but still find time for pleasantries in that wonderful Vietnamese way.
I ate a variety of cooking styles, but the grilled snapper was the most memorable. I didn't expect it to arrive in aluminium foil, like back home. But the aromas and the taste was fantastically exotic. All the beverages are nicely chilled and the restaurant has this buoyant feel of patrons simply enjoying their experience.
